The scene of the incident was an overgrown palm oil plantation, more than 5 km from the Trang-Sikao Road along a laterite road. There were more than 10 pieces of car tires burnt black, leaving only the wires inside the tires. There were also pieces that looked like pieces of human flesh and organs. Police officers, forensic officers, and rescue workers collected the pieces and found 3 human bodies in the ashes. They sent them for autopsy to find relevant evidence.
